Content Hub Learning Path

 

In this blog post, we will take a look at the learning path that Sitecore provides for the Content Hub. As with every new product you would like to know, the proof of the pudding is in the tasting. So first, get your Sandbox up and running and try playing around with the Content Hub. If you're experienced with other similar systems like a DAM or CMS, it will definitely look familiar. 

Request Content Hub Sandbox

As a Sitecore Partner, you're allowed to create a Content Hub Sandbox. In other to do so, please reach out to PartnerEnablement@Sitecore.com. 

With a sandbox up a running, the next thing you need is to start the Content Hub training. I would suggest starting off with the Sitecore Content Hub 4 training. It's a 12-month, on-demand, digital learning subscription is geared toward the Sitecore End User, Administrator, and Developer. The Sitecore Content Hub Product Solution consists of the Sitecore Content Hub 4 Fundamentals Collection.

It will not only provide you will text, images and video, but also provide you with hands-on labs. It really helps to do some hands-on training. 

After the digital training you can join with the Instructur Led Training (ILT) of the Content Hub. Sitecore has two different tracks:

• Sitecore Content Hub™ DAM Mock Implementation: Professional
• Sitecore Content Hub™ DAM Mock Implementation: Enterprise

You can register for them separately, but Sitecore also offers a cheaper option and that is the Sitecore Content Hub Mock Installations Bundle. This is a 10-day training course during which you will learn the implementation process for both professional- and enterprise-level projects. After receiving customer requirements for a fictitious company, you will learn to implement those requirements with instructor oversight while using a fresh Content Hub sandbox.

After finishing all your training, you can do the certification for Content Hub. Sitecore has two certifications, one for the Administrator and another for the Developer. The Developer certification will include the Administrator exam as well. You can read more on this in the links.
